It's being speculated that in order to restore the balance between bat and ball, the ICC may allow seamers to use external substances like Vaseline, sandpaper or even cork of a bottle to aid the old ball to swing. However, TOI understands that nothing has been proposed or even considered (in this direction as yet) in the ICC as yet.
